Who will consider undergoing buttock lift?
Buttock lift is recommended for patients who suffer from saggy, excessive, and redundant skin from massive weight loss or aging around bottom area by removal of the disfiguring excessive fat and loose skin.

How long is the length of stay for such a procedure?
The patient should stay for about 2-3 hospital nights

How is the surgery performed?
Buttock lift varies in extent of work required. The attending surgeon will make an incision out the skin and fat from the upper part of the buttock, pull the skin together, and stitch into place. For a small area of excess skin in the lower buttock area, the surgeon can perform a limited incision in the buttock crease.
Thigh lift surgery will take several hours depending on extent of work and you will be required to stay in the hospital in for about 2 nights.

Buttock lift is usually performed under general anesthesia.

What is pre and post-operative instructions?
Stop smoking and drinking alcohol for 2 weeks prior to surgery to reduce risks and complications during an operation. After the buttock lift surgery, you will be asked to wear a compressive garment for several weeks.

This procedure will leave the scar across the buttock or in the buttock crease.

What are the possible risks and complications?
Buttock lift surgery is a major surgical procedure that requires significant recovery time the surgery, the patient suffers pain and discomfort. You may return to normal activities at about 6 - 12 weeks. A supportive garment will be required for several weeks after the surgery. Common complications that may be occurred after arm lift surgery are infection, swelling, bruising
